Commemorating Nandi Gopal

A Monument of Power and Spiritual Significance Affectionately

Affectionately known as Nandi Gopal, he stands as a proud symbol of Ahinsadham. His remarkable stature has garnered prestigious recognition in the Guinness World Records and the Limca Book of Records. With awe-inspiring horns measuring 1.4 m (4 ft 7 in) long and had a circumference of 0.79 m (2 ft 7 in), each weighing 35 kg, and a robust body weight of 765 kg, Gopal epitomizes nature's grandeur.

As a venerated symbol of Lord Shiva, Nandi Gopal represents the profound interplay between strength and spirituality. His unique physique, particularly the curvature of his back reminiscent of a lingam, adds to his significance. When he bows, the alignment of his horns evokes a striking resemblance to a trident, embodying protection and power.

Join us in honouring Nandi Gopal’s legacy—a testament to our unwavering dedication to animal welfare and deep reverence for the natural world. Discover more about his inspiring journey and our mission at Ahinsadham Pashu Raksha Kendra.
