Various Awards Received by the Institution
“Gopal Nandi”
has his name recorded in the
“Limca Book”
and also in
“Guinness Book of World Records”
published in the year 2002.
Gujarat Government declares awards to institute working for animals and
goshalas (stables where cows are taken care of). In 2002,
"Bhagwan Mahavir Pashu Raksha Kendra",
Anchorwala Ahinsadham" was awarded first prize as the
"Best Institute"
in
this field. This reflects the support and co-operation which is laudable
between the volunteers, Trustees and Donors.
In
2002 the Institute has also received certificate by cabinet Minister of
Gujarat State,
Shri Harjeevanbhai Patel. Shri Chinubhai Patel
and
Gujarat Gaupalak Vikas Nigam
have also glorified the activities of the Institute. By going through the
certificates one feels proud for the Excellency of the institute.
This institute will set an example for upcoming organizations in this field in
future. It may not be an exaggeration but an accepted fact that the Institute
will help create such wonders in animal welfare world. "Animal Welfare Board
of India" has nominated
"Bhagwan Mahavir Pashu Raksha Kendra"
as
an 'Inspecting Agency' in Gujarat, which inspected and conducted the survey of
all the Animal Welfare organization for the year 2006 about their present
status, their existence and functioning. And forwarded an inspection report
for suggesting further necessary action and distribution of grants for the
coming years.
Anchorwala Ahinsadham
is
very proud of being appointed as an "Inspecting Agency". On 10th December
2007, Anchorwala Ahinsadham received award from all India Human Right
Association on the occasion of completing 21st year of that Association.
Anchorwala Ahinsadham’s President Shri Mahendra Sangoi & his team received
this award in the presence of prominent and eminent luminaries such as
jurists, Diplomats, Politicians & TV Stars.
